1. Select the Correct T-Anchor

Choose a T-anchor that matches the screw size, wall thickness, and load requirements of your application. T-anchors are commonly used in drywall and hollow wall applications where higher holding strength is needed.

2. Gather Required Tools and Safety Gear

You will need a drill, a drill bit sized to the anchor body, a screwdriver or drill driver, and a hammer if required. Wear safety glasses during installation.

3. Mark the Mounting Location

Position the fixture and mark the hole location on the wall. Verify the location is clear of wiring or plumbing behind the surface.

4. Drill the Hole

Drill a straight hole at the marked location using the recommended drill bit size. Drill cleanly so the anchor fits properly in the wall.

5. Insert the T-Anchor

Insert the T-anchor into the hole until the flange is flush with the wall surface. The anchor legs should be positioned to expand behind the wall.

6. Set the Anchor

Insert the screw into the anchor and begin tightening. As the screw is driven in, the anchor legs will pull tight against the back of the wall.

7. Secure the Fixture

Continue tightening the screw until the fixture is firmly secured. Avoid over-tightening, which can damage the anchor or wall.

8. Final Inspection

Check that the anchor is properly set and the fixture is secure with no movement. The T-anchor installation is complete.
